A longtime proponent of learning and education, Matt has been a teacher in many facets of life. He has been a guest lecturer, speaker, or presenter for or on behalf of numerous institutions and organizations, including the Johnson County Bar Association, Donald H. Chisholm Planned Giving Council, Henry W. Bloch School of Management (at the University of Missouri-Kansas City), Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and CBIZ MHM. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Some of Matt’s current endeavors as an educator are working as a lecturer at the University of Kansas School of Business and serving as an academic coach and mentor at Cristo Rey Kansas City High School.
Prior to becoming an educator, Matt worked tirelessly as a student. He obtained a B.A. with a double major in economics and psychology, an M.B.A., and a J.D. with a certificate in business and commercial law. Along the way he earned a number of merit-based scholarships and admission to prestigious honor societies.
