Sirach 25:2

Three kinds of men I hate; their manner of life I loathe indeed:  A proud pauper, a rich dissembler, and an old man lecherous in his dotage.

Sirach 25:1

With three things I am delighted, for they are pleasing to the LORD and to men:  Harmony among brethren, friendship among neighbors, and the mutual love of husband and wife.

2 Corinthians 10:17-18

Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.  For it is not the one who recommends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord recommends.

Amos 3:3-4

Do two walk together unless they have agreed?  Does a lion roar in the forest when it has no prey?

1 Corinthians 4:6-7

I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written, so that none of you will be inflated with pride in favor of one person over against another.  Who confers distinction upon you?  What do you possess that you have not received?  But if you have received it, why are you boasting as if you did not receive it?

Colossians 3:8-11

But now you must put them all away:  anger, fury, malice, slander, and obscene language out of your mouths.  Stop lying to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.  Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.

Deuteronomy 25:13-16

You shall not keep two different weights in your bag, one large and the other small; nor shall you keep two different measures in your house, one large and the other small.  But use a true and just weight, and a true and just measure, that you may have a long life on the land which the LORD, your God, is giving you.  Everyone who is dishonest in any of these matters is an abomination to the LORD, your God.

Philippians 2:14-15

Do everything without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like lights in the world

Psalm 147: 3-5

Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds, Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.  Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.
