The below chart was put together in an effort to easily compare some of the positions of the two United States presidential candidates going into the presidential election. This is an informal work in progress intended to be written in a neutral manner.
I was surprised to learn in my research leading up to this post that each of the two candidates has changed his positions on various important issues over the years and sometimes changed them substantially. These changes could be the natural result of mental and emotional evolution, greater experience, pandering to voters, a combination of the aforesaid factors, or something else entirely.
